Is Therapy Right for You?

I work with individuals who want a clearer understanding of the patterns that shape how they think, relate, and respond especially when insight or coping strategies haven’t led to lasting change.

Many people come to this work after realizing that knowing what is happening hasn’t clarified why certain patterns persist or repeat despite effort and awareness.

This process often extends beyond skill-building. It can include identifying recurring themes, bringing awareness to less obvious dynamics, and using the therapeutic relationship as an active part of the work. The focus extends beyond short-term symptom management to change that is sustained over time.

This approach tends to work best for people who are willing to slow the process down, examine patterns over time, and engage thoughtfully with the work between sessions.


What to Expect in Therapy

The work is collaborative. We examine patterns together, including those you already recognize and those that emerge over time. This may include attending to the therapeutic relationship, identifying recurring themes across relationships and daily life, and prioritizing understanding before moving toward intervention.

Therapy focuses on how these patterns shape how you think, decide, and relate. We clarify internal processes and relational dynamics and track how they operate over time, using that understanding to guide change.

My approach is grounded in evidence-based, trauma-informed models, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). These frameworks provide structure and are tailored to the individual.


How to Start Therapy

We’ll start with a brief consultation to determine alignment. You’ll outline what you’re seeking support for, and I’ll explain how I work and whether my services meet your needs.

If we decide to move forward, we’ll schedule an initial session and establish a plan that fits your goals and availability.

We are a self-pay practice with a rate of $225 per session. Superbills are available for out-of-network reimbursement.
