Psychological Testing
Independent Psychological Evaluations (IME)
Used when an objective psychological opinion is required for administrative, legal, insurance, or governmental decision-making.
IMEs may involve diagnostic clarification, functional assessment, record review, or a combination of these components, depending on the referral question. Reports are written for third-party review and reflect standard clinical methods, clear rationale, and defined scope.
These evaluations do not involve treatment, advocacy, or ongoing clinical care.
Fitness-for-Duty / Fitness-for-Position Evaluations
Requested to determine whether an individual is psychologically able to safely and effectively perform the essential functions of a specific role.
Evaluations focus on role-relevant psychological functioning and are anchored to documented job demands and the defined referral question. Conclusions are limited to fitness-related determinations and do not extend beyond the scope of the request.
This service is evaluative only and does not involve treatment or representation of any party.
Pre-Surgical Psychological Evaluations
Required by some medical and surgical programs to document psychological readiness prior to a planned procedure.
These evaluations address program-specific requirements and relevant psychological risk factors as defined by the referring provider or surgical team. The scope is limited to clearance or documentation needs related to the procedure.
